Julia Ortinez-Hansen is an original Bay Area resident, before she was uprooted by her family and moved to Yangon, Burma. After learning how to cut a mango and tie a lungi her family felt it was time to try another continent and Africa seemed to be the best fit. She spent the next five years in Johannesburg, South Africa commuting to school by pachyderm on constant alert for the wild predators of the high veldt.
Upon graduation she moved to Eugene to attend the University of Oregon where she studied advertising with a minor in communications. Most of her finest communicative moments were spent at Auden Stadium. (Go Ducks!)
San Francisco called and she moved back to her Bay Area roots. In her first few years in the ad world she worked in healthcare – she can tell you all there is to know about Diabetes and the interworkings of the UltraMini, VerioSync, and Verio Meters. Now she is loving being an Account Manager on method, Audi, and Stealth. Co at MUH-TAY-ZIK | HOF-FER.
