A proud Northern Virginian and JMU alum (go Dukes!), Katie has marketed everything from fitness DVDs to DreamWorks features, luxury automobiles to almond milk. Advertising isn’t boring, so that’s why she likes it.
Before getting into this wacky industry, Katie called Washington, D.C. home and dabbled in PR and social media community management for Acorn Media and Acacia Fitness. While in the 202, she lost hearing as a PA at the legendary 9:30 Club and ate her weight in Duffy’s Irish Pub Chesapeake wings.
Katie joins MUH-TAY-ZIK | HOF-FER most recently from Riney in SF where she helped launch Stanford Healthcare’s first-ever advertising campaign while perfecting the art of the “Hal Riney voice.” Prior to moving to the city by the bay, Katie was launching the remarkable for Lexus USA at Team One in sunny Los Angeles. Excited to get back to her love of automotive, Katie will be leading the charge as Account Supervisor on AAA.
If Katie’s not busy eating macaroni and cheese, she can be found hiking, yoga-ing (to burn off said macaroni and cheese) or cooking (you guessed it, macaroni and cheese). She’s happiest in a beanie après skiing. Should Katie ever not be in advertising, she’d likely try her hand as a band manager or own a sandwich shop.
