Molly spent her childhood years hunting for lizards and building forts in the woods behind her house in Maine. She first picked up a camera at age 12, using the lens and her basement darkroom to learn about people and the world. Early work includes voyeuristic images of local folk at county fairs, and brooding self-portraits.
In an effort to continue learning about herself and the world through imagery, she left home at age 17 for the Steamy South, receiving a formal education and degree in Photography from The Savannah College of Art and Design. She arrived in San Francisco in 2013, having spent the previous decade in Savannah, GA, Charleston, SC, and Chicago, IL respectively.
She has parlayed more than a decade of freelance commercial and editorial photography and film production into her current role as Producer at MUH-TAY-ZIK | HOF-FER. The best parts of 2013 & 2014 were spent as a freelance producer here, making magic happen for The Golden State Warriors, Netflix, Desk.com, and New Amsterdam. She’s also recently produced a few independent film projects, one of which was selected to screen at the 2015 Emerging Filmmakers Fest at Cannes. In 2015, she’ll be working with AAA to create exciting radio, broadcast, and digital, and print campaigns.
