A native New Yorker, Sam grew up in Manhattan; then moved to the Hudson Valley, where he learned to pair wildly-disparate, regionally-learned skills, including “don’t talk to strangers, unless they are animals,” and “how to move quickly through a crowd, of trees”.
After attending Vassar College on a football scholarship, Sam returned to NYC to work in film and television; eventually succumbing to advertising’s siren song. Sam went on to produce work for NYC agencies including TBWA/Chiat/Day, HUGE, and Barton F. Graf.
It was only a matter of time before California came calling, and Sam joined M/H in San Francisco. In his role as Senior Producer, Sam has worked on many clients including Audi of America, AAA, and method. Whether an automotive photoshoot, live-action production, musical number, interactive live-streamed broadcast, or even a parade, Sam has led production efforts at M/H across many mediums, and is always ready to embrace the next challenge.
When he is not making work for the agency, Sam enjoys exploring the Bay Area’s bounty of excursions and lovely weather. Sam misses his friends and family back in New York almost as much as he misses the pizza.
