Open your lapels and your hearts. We’ve got a few new faces. Well, TBH, they aren’t that new. It’s been a while since one of these posts, but humor them, will ya?
Sherry Wangenheim joins the finance team as Controller. She is a California native but spent most of her youth in Kansas City just waiting for the right opportunity to come back west. Fun facts about Sherry: she worked for several tabloid television shows (Extra, Hard Copy & Entertainment Tonight), is a UCLA Bruin, and has four kids. She loves good design and watching the Olympics. Stay gold, Sherry.
Michaela Fletcher comes to MH as Associate Media Director. She is a Bay Area native and has lived in San Francisco for the last 8 years, working at notable SF agencies on clients like MINI Cooper and Taco Bell. Outside of work, Michaela loves to travel and try new food. Good! Now we have a scout to send out to discover new lunch spots.
David Gonzales, the Director of Strategy chair, joins us from an 8-month long freelance stint at a popular social networking platform that may sound familiar: Facebook. Interesting fact, he holds a masters degree in American History from the University of Sussex. That’s in England, people. We’ve been trying to keep this under wraps, but we’d like to welcome Yeezy. His schedule is pretty busy, but when he’s not able to be here, Whitney James covers his video editing duties. Prior to joining M/H, Whitney spent five years learning the ropes of editing and the art of the perfect pairing of brisket and beer in Austin, Texas. When not at work, she can be found chillin’ out, maxin’, and relaxin’ all cool, hitting up Amoeba Music, or catching a movie at The Alamo Drafthouse. Occasionally, hot wings find their way into the mix. Here’s to hoping your vinyl collection stays wing sauce free, Whitney.
Last but not least, we have Rob Gungor. Well, we have him at least 50% of the time at our East Coast HQ in New York City and the other 50% he spends in Marfa, Texas. He makes ones and zeros into websites, makes music, and makes coffee. We couldn’t make a GIF of Rob because he is in NY/TX. Instead, please enjoy this music video from Rob’s music project, Wilderman.
