Some uber-smart guys we worked with when we were helping create iMeet approached us with a new idea. There is a whole world of “Learning Management Systems” that are as dismal as they sound.

What if we made a design-led educational site that feels fresh, social, approachable, and available to anyone with something to teach? Great idea.

With personal growth at the heart of it, MUH-TAY-ZIK | HOF-FER offered up the name Bulb, and their positioning line, “Share your smarts.” We did the logo and brand guidelines, taking an equity position in the new entity.

Series A funding has just closed, and it’s already been named one of the top education apps for 2014. Congratulations all!
