The days of prospective students hoping to matriculate to University checking their mailbox every day for college acceptance letters may soon be over. The University of Wisconsin-Green Bay has begun notifying students of their acceptance status in the fastest way possible—Snapchat.
New students will still receive official emails and welcome packets via traditional mail, but their first alert will come via Snapchat. Admissions counselors admit they enjoy the excited replies they’ve received from elated students.
Parents should be into this, as it seems like a good way to keep high school seniors on their toes to ensure they keep their Snaps stay nice and classy.
