Berkeley Bionics was creating a wearable exoskeleton that enabled paraplegics to walk. After receiving federal funding, global press, and early adopter rehab centers, it was time to create a world-class brand for additional investment funding and growth.
In an effort aimed at humanizing the technology, we renamed them Ekso Bionics and created a brand experience built around their test pilots instead of just the technology, focusing on the new tagline, “For the Human Endeavor.” Recently the company has gone public under the ticker symbol EKSO, valued in excess of $100 million.
